Fibers that often score better when you can find them
These are less common in true compression tights. When a listing actually uses them as the majority fiber, the material score usually improves. Open a guide for the scoring inputs.
- Organic CottonCotton-rich leggings score better on shedding than polyester tights. Expect a softer, less compressive fit.
- Tencel LyocellA wood-pulp fiber, not cotton. It shows up in some stretch knits and usually sheds less than polyester.
- ModalAnother wood-pulp knit fiber. Common in softer everyday leggings rather than high-compression pairs.
