Greener Closet

Email privacy and preferences

Effective August 12, 2026

Separate purposes and consent

A requested analyzer report is a one-time transactional message. Requesting it does not subscribe the address to marketing. The Greener Closet Brief is a separate, optional choice that is unchecked by default and requires confirmation through a single-use email link. Having an account never counts as consent.

Information we keep

For Brief requests, we keep the normalized email address, an optional account link, the approved capture surface, consent topic, wording and frequency version, request, confirmation and unsubscribe timestamps, delivery state, and suppression state. Confirmation and preference tokens are stored only as cryptographic hashes. One-time report requests do not create a reusable marketing subscriber record.

Delivery provider and events

Greener Closet uses Resend to deliver these messages from the dedicated news.greenercloset.com sending domain. Resend processes the recipient address and message for delivery. Signed delivery events may tell us that a message bounced, was reported as spam, or was suppressed; we use those events to stop future delivery. Open and click tracking are not required by this feature.

Your choices and retention

Every future Brief message must include preferences and one-click unsubscribe controls. Unsubscribe and suppression records are retained so we can continue honoring the choice. Consent evidence is retained for the applicable compliance period. Expired confirmation tokens are automatically removed, and delivery-event deduplication records are retained only for a bounded operational window.

You may also contact support@greenercloset.com or use the rights process in the main Greener Closet Privacy Policy.

Your privacy choices

Optional analytics are off unless you choose them. Necessary features such as analysis, sign-in, language, security, and requested emails keep working either way.
