This comfy sweatshirt dress looks great over leggings, tights, or on its own with your favourite sneakers. Oh, and did we mention it has pockets?
A knit whose back, or both sides, is brushed until the fibers stand up and trap warm air. Cotton fleece is sweatshirt fabric and polyester fleece is the outdoor kind.
It's warm and soft. Brushing takes away some of a knit's give, so most of the stretch in a fleece comes from elastane in the blend. Brushed synthetic fleece sheds more fibers in the wash than a flat knit of the same fiber, and it can pill.
